Robotics & Parametric Design
Course Description
Robotics and Parametric Design is a course that combines a robotics workshop with 3D modeling and CNC manufacturing tools like 3D printers and laser cutters. Once a week, students will travel to Roosevelt Island for an afternoon workshop in robotics at Cornell Tech with instructors from NYCFirst. The remaining two class periods will be based in the makerspace at AFSE, where students will learn how the foundations of design and modeling in order to use manufacturing tools that will the direction of your solutions to challenges in robotics.
