In order to provide families with enough time to prepare for the week ahead, we will be sending the weekly email on Sunday evening. You will receive an email with important information and action items for the week. Please review and be sure to complete the action steps by the deadline to stay current with AFSE announcements.
 
Action Item #1 (All Students)School will resume on Tuesday, January 29, at 9:00 AM. Students should report to their advisory rooms for their new Spring semester schedules and new Metrocards.
 
Action Item #2 (12th Grade): Senior Dues 

❐  Base Package $50 (Sitting Fee, Graduation - June 25, Senior Brunch, Yearbook, Senior Awards)

 Base + Prom Only $100 One ticket, dinner, dancing @ Chelsea Piers, NY: Thursday, June 6th, 2019

 Base + Senior Trip Only $100 Club Getaway, Kent, CT: Thursday & Friday, May 30th-31st, 2019

 Base + Prom + Trip (ALL) $150

 Additional Prom ticket for guest $50

 Please pay either in full, the listed minimum amounts, or any remaining amounts, to Ms. Jacker in Rm. 412, Monday through Thursday, 3:20 - 3:40 pm by the deadlines:

  • $100: Thursday, February 14th, 2019,
  • $150: Thursday, March 14th, 2019.

Payment is accepted in cash, check, or money order made payable to:

“Academy for Software Engineering”.

Action Item #3 (All Students): Breakfast with the Principal: The next Breakfast w/ the Principal will be held on February 8 at 8:30 - 9:00 AM. Please join Principal Raeke to discuss the spring semester.
 
Action Item #4 (All Students): Please see the AFSE Club List, Tutoring Schedule, and Student Opportunities linked below. Some clubs are still finalizing their meeting schedule and will be shared as soon as they are completed.
 
Students are expected to arrive to school in time to be in class by 9:00 AM.  Students who arrive after 9:00 AM are considered late.  It is essential that students arrive on time to maximize learning opportunities and succeed in class. If you need support, please contact the school.
