Action Item #1 (All Students): Report Cards: All students received their Fall semester report cards. The report cards are preliminary and are subject to revision before Feb 15. Please review this letter for some report cards information. 
Action Item #2 (All Students): SLT & PTA Meetings will be on Wednesday, February 13. SLT begins at 4:30 PM. PTA begins at 6:00 PM. Ms. Ross will join us at the PTA meeting to showcase Jumprope and answer some mastery based grading questions. 
Action Item #3: (11th Grade): Junior College Night: Join us for the beginning of the Class of 2020 college application process on Tuesday, February 26 at 6:00 PM. Meet with your student and their mentor to hear from the AFSE College Team about the next steps your student should take in applying to college. In order to best prepare for the process, please bring a copy of your 2018 W-2 or Tax Return. If you do not have it yet, there will be other opportunities to bring them in.

Action Item #4 (12th Grade): Senior Dues

 Base + Prom Only $100 One ticket, dinner, dancing @ Chelsea Piers, NY: Thursday, June 6th, 2019

 Base + Senior Trip Only $100 Club Getaway, Kent, CT: Thursday & Friday, May 30th-31st, 2019

 Base + Prom + Trip (ALL) $150

 Additional Prom ticket for guest $50

 Please pay either in full, the listed minimum amounts, or any remaining amounts, to Ms. Jacker in Rm. 412, Monday through Thursday, 3:20 - 3:40 pm by the deadlines:

  • $100: Thursday, February 14th, 2019,
  • $150: Thursday, March 14th, 2019.

Payment is accepted in cash, check, or money order made payable to:

Action Item #5 (All Students): Please see the AFSE Club List, Tutoring Schedule, and Student Opportunities linked below. Some clubs are still finalizing their meeting schedule and will be shared as soon as they are completed.
Students are expected to arrive to school in time to be in class by 9:00 AM.  Students who arrive after 9:00 AM are considered late.  It is essential that students arrive on time to maximize learning opportunities and succeed in class. If you need support, please contact the school.
