Lewis Callender is a familiar face within the school community. Lewis has been a part of the AFSE family for the past 4 years, spending his first 3 as a paraprofessional. These experiences working with children living with disabilities influenced Lewis to enter the NYC Teaching Fellows program after graduating from CUNY Medgar Evers College. As a second year teacher Lewis is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Teaching Urban adolescents with Disabilities. His goal as an educator is to help students living with disabilities develop both academically and socially.
