Out of the nearly 2,000 high school seniors who will submit an application, 300 will be named scholars with 40 selected as finalists. Finalists and their work have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes Magazine and more, including many high school student papers! Many also go on to win the most prestigious honors in science, including Fields Medals and Nobel Prizes – your classmates could be future leaders in science, and you could be the first to break their story to your community.
