iMentor

iMentor is a college success program that matches every student in AFSE with a college educated mentor. The relationship starts in 9th grade, through college, and beyond. Mentoring relationships are fostered through weekly class sessions and monthly in school events facilitated by iMentor Program Managers.  AFSE mentors are from around the world. What they have in common is a passion for technology and youth empowerment. Many AFSE mentors work at companies like Google, Bloomberg, R/GA, Facebook, Morgan Stanley and more. They have helped our students obtain internships and scholarships and have assisted with resumes, college essays, recommendations and college applications. Many of our students have had the opportunity to shadow their mentor and experience what it's like to work there for a day. iMentor believes in the power of long term, personal relationships to help students succeed.
