Dear AFSE Community:
It is with deep sadness to share with the wider AFSE community the passing of Kephas Pope (Alumni, Class of 2023). Kephas passed away on November 21, 2024. He was an exceptional young man in every respect who was beyond his years in maturity and accomplishment. He enjoyed working out at the gym, golf, video games and eating healthy. Kephas began college at Santa Clara one year early and excelled as a student while studying biochemistry and neuroscience. We will continue to remember Kephas fondly and learn from his example.
