The educators on this delegation have recently published a book on "Guidebook on Artificial Intelligence Based Education" and they are continuing to seek for opportunities for more learning and discussion on this topic for K-12 education. NIA has formed this trip so that these educators have some more exposure in the USA. During their visit to America, they have visited professors from MIT, Harvard and Columbia, but they also wanted to visit a high school in NY to see what kinds of technology is being used and taught.
The group visited two Senior classes and met with our Computer Science teachers. The discussion consisted of the educators sharing the work that they've done with Artificial Intelligence and how it can be used to empower students and strengthen their education. Our team shared the scope of our curriculum of providing our students with the basic component of Computer Science in order to have a solid foundation and skills to take into any field or to continue their CS education.
