Family Art Workshop: Experiment with Photography

Look closely at the exhibition Life Dances On: Robert Frank in Dialogue to see how Robert Frank expressed himself through photography and experimentation. Then layer materials and textures to make personalized prints using a cameraless photographic technique.

Join us for a dynamic story time as we listen to artful tales that get us thinking, talking, moving, and creating. Free! Recommended for kids ages two and up and their adult companions.
Daily, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
In this hands-on space, kids and adults can play with line and light, draw to music, create a shape design, and more. All ages are welcome. Free with museum admission.
Teen Programs
MoMA Teen Programs provide New York City teens with the opportunity to explore art making, engage with the contemporary art world and artists, and connect with other teens from across the city. MoMA Teens offers a variety of unique and free hands-on, drop-in studio art courses and behind-the-scenes, internship-like programs. School Programs
Book a guided or unguided Museum visit to develop students’ critical thinking and to make connections with their own lives. Free for all NYC Department of Education groups. For questions, email MoMA’s Groups and Tours or call (212) 708-9685.
Everyone is welcome at MoMA. We offer a variety of free programs to increase the accessibility of the Museum. Create Ability is a free monthly program welcoming kids, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with their families and friends, to explore works on view and create artwork together. In each session, participants focus on a different theme during interactive activities in the Museum's galleries and classrooms. Group visits are also available for schools or community organizations that work with students with disabilities. Contact MoMA’s Groups and Tours to schedule a visit to the Museum.
