Parent Coordinator - Ashley Cameron Bio

From a young age, Ashley Cameron knew she wanted to work in the Education field. Unaware of all of the professions in Education, she assumed she wanted to be a teacher. However, interning with her English teacher and College Counselor in high school opened her mind to other prospects in Education. Ashley attended Albright College for two years where she fell in love with Psychology. Not willing to relent on working with children she began on a path that would allow her to merge the fields of Education and Psychology. After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology with honors from Lehman College, Ashley began working as a Parent Coordinator at AFSE in 2014. She has gained a great deal of experience and skills in order thrive as a Parent Coordinator and work towards continuing her education in School Counseling at Lehman College. Above all, Ashley is a very proud mother and makes sure she works to create a welcoming work & school environment that she would want her own children to experience. She is extremely excited to be at AFSE for a fifth year and looks forward to all of the amazing things our students will inevitably accomplish.
